Cultural diversity sparks alternative solutions to traditional problems

The Entreprise Innovation and Management Centre was founded by the Department of Engineering of the University of Bergamo and by the MIP - Politecnico of Milan Consortium with the objective of favouring the development of services oriented to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Faculty of Engineering (now Department of Engineering) of the University of Bergamo was born in 1991, when the Management Engineering department was introduced backed by the impulse of the local economic context. Recently the Department has enriched its course portfolio following a positive enrollment trend (today over 2000 students). The structure is growing and includes a campus and innovative laboratories in collaboration with local firms.

The MIP - Politecnico of Milan is since 1979 one of the most prestigious education institutes oriented to business and entrepreneurship. Together with the local Engineering department, it is part of the School of Management of the Politecnico of Milan that includes many education and training activities in the areas of Business, Economics and Engineering. MIP is a consortium organized around the necessity to collaborate with a wide range of national institutions and both private and public industrial groups.
