The Local Bus 1 operates from Orio al Serio airport to Bergamo Railway station (every 30 minutes - ticket € 2.00 - lasts 90 minutes). From Milan (Garibaldi Bus Station) the Società Autostradale operates a service to Bergamo every 30 minutes.

A ticket (city zone) costs € 1.00 and, once validated on the bus, lasts 75 minutes. Also available for tourists is a € 7.00 three-day pass for the city zone and cable car (Ticket Airport Bus).
The ticket which can be bought at news-stands and at tobacconist shops must be validated on the first bus boarded.

Bus #1A/B/C - Route: from Città Alta (Colle Aperto), every 15': via delle Mura, Porta Sant'Agostino and viale Vittorio Emanuele, Porta Nuova, Railway Station, Malpensata, Orio al Serio and Bergamo AirPort.

Bus #3 - Route: from Città Alta (piazza Mercato delle Scarpe), every 20' it passes the University building of Sant'Agostino, via della Fara, Porta Garibaldi, then Valverde, San Colombano, Monterosso and the Stadium. You can leave your car in the Stadium Parking lot and take bus 3 to reach the University in Città Alta.

Funicolare (Cable railway) - Route: leaves viale Vittorio Emanuele, and reaches piazza Mercato delle Scarpe (Città Alta).

Bus #5 - every 15', it leaves Porta Nuova or the Railway Station for Villaggio degli Sposi, Lallio, and reaches the University building of Ingegneria in viale Marconi. In the opposite direction, bus #5 leaves the Railway Station of Bergamo for Gorle, Scanzorosciate, Pedrengo, Villa di Serio.

Bus #10 - every 15', it leaves Bergamo (Porta Nuova) for Treviolo and Dalmine, including the Faculty of Engineering building, then Sabbio (bus #11A) or Brembo (bus #11B). In the opposite direction, bus #11 leaves Bergamo for Redona, Ranica and Torre Boldone.

With other buses of Autoservizi Locatelli Dalmine can be reached from Bergamo, Curno, Osio Sopra, Ponte san Pietro, Treviolo and, directly or with other buses, from nearly every locations of the "Isola Bergamasca".
