This Faculty first started in 1991 with a
degree course in Management Engineering, again encouraged by the prospects of the local business
world, and by common interests shared with the Economics Faculty. In the last few years, thanks also
to the Reform, the Faculty has introduced new degree courses, and one in particular, Textile
Engineering, unique in Italy. Student numbers have increased to more than 2,200, and a new campus
and the latest in laboratories have been added with the help of local firms.
