This Department first started in 1991 with a degree course in Management Engineering, again encouraged by the prospects of the local business world, and by common interests shared with the Economics Department. In the last few years, thanks also to the Reform, the Department has introduced new degree courses. Student numbers have increased to more than 2,200, and a new campus and the latest in laboratories have been added with the help of local firms.
