Degree

The First Level Degree is conferred after three academic years, having gained a total of 180 cfu/ECTS credits by passing the exams required by the study plan.


Admission

Admission to Italian Universities is possible only if the student holds a Diploma di Maturità ("A" Levels/Higher School Certificate) gained after 5 years at a high school.


Entry tests

Students enrolled in the first year of the Degree Course in General Arts are required to have reached a level of proficiency Italian Language and Literature, History and General Knowledge.
Each year, entry tests are held in September.


Self-tests

Students can also take the relevant on-line self-test.


Latin Language

The Faculty of Human Sciences has organised a preparatory course in Latin Language to help students with no previous specific background in the language to reach the necessary level of linguistic knowledge. It offers elementary Latin and is aimed at students who have never studied the language. The 60-hour course involves four hours of lessons every day.
Before deciding to enrol in the Course, students should take the relevant on-line self-test.
