 Selected and supported by the European Commission, the Masters Programme Crossways in European Humanities offers an eclectic integrated programme feeding on successful programmes run locally in the seven European universities of the Consortium: Bergamo (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Perpignan (France), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Sheffield (England), St Andrews (Scotland) and Tübingen (Germany). Crossways in European Humanities is specialised in traditional humanities with a modern languages background, taking European Identities and European cultures as its theme. At the University of Bergamo, Cultural Migrations in Literature, Visual Arts and Communication provides a theoretical and technical approach to the professions of journalism, publishing, archive science and multimedia communication. The Masters programme is accessible to both European and non-European students and annually offers 20 competitive scholarships to non-European students.  Il Master Erasmus Mundus Crossways in European Humanities è un master biennale, finanziato dalla Comunità Europea ed erogato congiuntamente da sette università consorziate – Bergamo (Italia), Lisbona (Portogallo), Perpignan (Francia), Santiago de Compostela (Spagna), Sheffield (Inghilterra), St Andrews (Scozia) e Tubinga (Germania) – che vantano prestigio e reputazione internazionale nel campo delle Lettere e delle Scienze umane. Caratterizzato da multilinguismo e multidisciplinarietà, il Master Erasmus Mundus Crossways in European Humanities è aperto alla partecipazione di studenti di tutto il mondo e ha come scopo l'esplorazione della sfera culturale europea passata e presente. Il programma offerto dall'Università degli studi di Bergamo, denominato Cultural Migrations in Literature, Visual Arts and Communication, offre preparazione teorica e tecnica nell'ambito delle lettere, delle arti e della comunicazione multimediale. Per ogni anno accademico il consorzio può offrire borse di studio a 20 studenti extra-europei selezionati per la loro eccellenza.
