STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT (ITA)

The success of a company over time is described by its Strategy. The future stands on the ability to find the direction to recreate the conditions for growth, even under uncertainty and a rapidly changing environment. Strategic Change and Complexity Management are the main issues of the new millennium both for economics and business.

Innovation and change are described as entrepreneurial opportunities to create new businesses and to develop existing enterprises. Emphasis is put on the strategic evolution driven by technological innovation.
Strategy is concerned with answering some main questions:
- How does a company become successful and stay successful?
- How facing the disruptive forces and seismic shifts that are impacting the global economy and reconfiguring the landscape in critical ways for business?
- How managing the rise of complexity affecting the way businesses are conducted?
We guess that time has come to change the traditional way of doing business.

The course will host lectures by Visiting Executives (entrepreneurs, managers, etc.).
