Abstracts and Presentation Proposals Submission

This EBEN Research Conference follows the established format which allows researchers ample time to present their research in order to get feedback from other colleagues. Sessions are to last 50 minutes for each paper presentation, and the time should be divided into a presentation and then constructive feedback.

The main point of the research conference is to "improve" what one is working on.

It is not necessary to back the presentation with full papers.

Participants are asked to provide a detailed abstract of their planned presentation (about 500 words) accompanied by a short biographical note (100 words) electronically by February 15, 2007 to eben2007@unibg.it

Once the scientific committee has verified that the topic chosen by the author fit with the conference objectives and in order to proceed with the referee process, participants will be invited to send a written summary of their presentation (presentation proposal), of at least 3.000 words, by 1 March, 2007 (electronic submission is mandatory).

In the presentation proposal authors can specify the areas or the questions they wish to receive particular attention or specific suggestions for.

The acceptance of the presentation proposal will be communicated to the authors by the 30th of March.

Every presentation proposal will be read by a member of the Scientific Committee who will provide a written feedback to the authors.

All the presentation proposals, once accepted, will be published (password protected) on the RC web-site (www.unibg.it/eben2007) before the meeting, so that all the registered participants can read the proposals before the Conference. Only abstracts will be printed and handed out during the conference.

Conference proceedings will not be published in any form.

In cases of uncertainty about the suitability of their topic, potential participants may contact the organizers to discuss their proposal.
