Prof. Sergio Ortobelli Lozza

Sergio Ortobelli is an associate professor in the "Lorenzo Mascheroni" Department of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Applications of the University of Bergamo (Italy). He earned a masters degree in mathematics from the University of Milan and a doctorate in mathematical finance from the University of Bergamo. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Bergamo, Professor Ortobelli was a researcher at the University of Calabria. His research, published in various academic journals in mathematics and finance, focuses on the application of different distributional approaches to portfolio theory, risk management, and option theory.
