Francesca Giorgia Paleari received a degree (summa cum laude) in Philosophy (1996) and a PhD in Social Psychology (2002) from Catholic University of Milan, where she was a temporal lecturer. She was visiting fellow at Cardiff University's School of Psychology (1997) and participated in EAESP Summer School at Clermont-Ferrand II University (2000). Since 2005 she has been teaching courses in General Psychology and Psychology of Communication at University of Bergamo and seminars in Quantitative research methods for PhD students at different Italian universities. She has been involved in several research projects including ?Interpersonal and social forgiveness. The case of Italian terrorism? funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (PRIN2009; supervisor Prof. Regalia). Her major topics of research, thus far, has been attributions, gratitude and forgiveness in close relationships, investigated through longitudinal and correlational designs.
