Le village fortifié de VAINNE fait partie du réseau
des bastides adhérentes au Centre d'Etude des Bastides.
Le C.E.B. est le conseiller technique des bastides du réseau
auxquelles il ouvre ses banques de données.
Cette association loi 1901 a pour objectif de développer
la connaissance sur les formes de peuplement au Moyen Age, notamment
les bastides, villes neuves gothiques.
