Leaflet Summer School 2024

The Summer School in Applied Health Econometrics and Health Policy (AHEHP) brings together economists, statisticians and students to apply econometric methods in the field of healthcare and health data analysis that support decision making. AHEHP provides fast and effective learning, the invaluable contribution of leading researchers in health economics from different institutions, and a unique social and interactive environment.

Dates and tasks

The Summer School will take place from 22 to 27 July 2024.

An extended format, until 2 August, is available for participants who intend to perform a project work and discuss it in a final exam session equivalent to six credits.

Target group

AHEHP is aimed at students of Italian and foreign universities and professionals of different disciplines in the health field with suitable economic and data analysis bases.

Specifically, AHEHP is addressed to graduate students (and third-year Bachelor's degree students), PhD studentsyoung researchers and professionals in the health care sector.

ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) and digital Badge

The University of Bergamo will release a digital badge that certifies the skills acquired by the participants.

Students from the University of Bergamo discussing the project work will earn 6 ECTS counting for their Master Degrees in Economics and Data Analysis, Economics and Finance, Management Engineering, Technology and Management for Health, and their Bachelor's Degrees in Economics, and Engineering and Management for Health

Students from other institutions will earn a certificate that the Summer School accounts for 6 ECTS.
