Applied Health Econometrics and Health Policy

Health Econometrics plays an important role in supporting health and social care policy programs. The Summer School in Applied Health Econometrics and Health Policy (AHEHP) aims to bring together economists, statisticians, econometricians, healthcare managers and scientists to discuss the adoption of statistical and econometric methods to address issues in the field of healthcare and to explore the relationship between research in health care and policy making.

The Summer School 2020 will be held by distance learning method, through the Microsoft Teams tool. 


July, Monday 20th - Saturday 25th, 2020.

Target group

Graduate students, PhD students, young researchers and professionals in the health care sector.

ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System)

Graduate students from the University of Bergamo attending the Summer School will get 6 ECTS counting for their Master Degrees in Management Engineering and Engineering and Management for Health. Students from other institutions will get a certificate that the Summer School accounts for 6 ECTS. The Summer school spreads over 5 consecutive days (Monday to Friday) with 6 hour lecture per day and 20 hours of individual homework.
