Health Econometrics plays an important role in supporting health and social care policy programs. The Summer School in Applied Health Econometrics and Health Policy (AHEHP) aims to bring together economists, statisticians, econometricians, healthcare managers and scientists to discuss the adoption of statistical and econometric methods to address issues in the field of healthcare and to explore the relationship between research in health care and policy making.

Graduate students from the University of Bergamo attending the Summer School will get 6 ECTS counting for their Master Degrees in Management Engineering and Engineering and Management for Health. Students from other institutions will get a certificate that the Summer School accounts for 6 ECTS. The Summer school spreads over 5 consecutive days (Monday to Friday) with 6 hour lecture per day and 20 hours of individual homework.
