The European Research Council (ERC)
Funding from the European Research Council (ERC), the EU body supporting excellent researchers under the Horizon Europe program finances unconventional multidisciplinary and bottom-up proposals. The ERC main objective is to strengthen the European "frontier" research, in support of pioneering projects on the initiative of researchers from different scientific, technical and academic fields.

We invite expression of interest from researchers interested in submitting and ERC grant application with the University of Bergamo as the host institution.

Research funds

the University of Bergamo offers up to € 50.000 extra research funds for phd scholarship, post-doctoral fellowship and scientific lab equipment;
- extra fundings from Fondazione Cariplo (this grant is subordinated to the approval of the funding Institution), up to 330.000€.
