Green Energy Management Summer School

Asia centrale

The 2026 Green Energy Management Summer School will take place from 31st August to 4th September 2026, hosted by the University San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Spain

The Summer School is organised as part of GEM-SILKWAY, an international project involving over 17 partners from around the world. The project takes a cross-cultural approach to analysing concepts such as sustainability and human development. The energy transition is a global issue debated from technological, economic, social, geographical, and cultural perspectives.

The Summer School brings together academics, professionals, and institutional representatives to promote interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue. The focus is on energy efficiency, particularly in the context of recent changes in Central Asia. Students will benefit from lectures, debates with international scholars, cultural activities and site visits. The programme is updated annually to reflect the latest innovations and developments.

This year, the Summer School has received patronage from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and will participate in the 5+1 project.
