To support the inclusion of Palestinian students in the Italian university system, the University of Bergamo
offers two scholarships to Palestinian students residing in the Palestinian Territories who wish
to pursue a graduate (Master’s) degree programme in Italy.
The scholarship may be used to pursue one of the University’s Master’s degree programmes:

Students may not enrol in the following limited-admission programme:
- Clinical Psychology
The benefits include:
- A scholarship totalling €20,000 gross for two academic years (€10,000 gross per year), including all
charges borne by the beneficiary. The net amount cannot be determined in advance; candidates
should allow for IRPEF income tax of at least 23%. This percentage is indicative and applies only to
2026.
- One meal per day at the University of Bergamo student canteen (lunch, five days a week)
- An annual public transport pass for University of Bergamo students (for the 2026/2027 academic
year)
- Exemption from the pre-enrolment fee and tuition fees (only the regional fee of €146.00 must be
paid)
- Full support from the International Desk staff and the academic staff responsible for the project
- An Italian language course organised by the University of Bergamo Language Centre
- Psychological support and tutoring
- Assistance with obtaining a residence permit and accessing services
- Health insurance coverage for 2026, 2027 and 2028
