EY- Parthenon NextGen Women Competition 2026 è un’iniziativa internazionale sui temi Strategy e Corporate Finance che vede protagoniste studentesse da tutto il mondo.

La fase italiana si terrà il 29 e 30 giugno a Milano e vedrà le partecipanti coinvolte in momenti di networking, case study di gruppo e sfide individuali.

La vincitrice accederà alla fase conclusiva internazionale che si svolgerà a ottobre, insieme alle finaliste provenienti dai 24 paesi partecipanti.

Partecipare a EY-Parthenon NextGen Women rappresenta inoltre una via di accesso prioritaria ai processi di selezione per intraprendere un percorso professionale nei team di EY-Parthenon, punto di riferimento sul mercato per la consulenza strategica, il Corporate Finance e il Real Estate.

Studentesse del primo anno di laurea magistrale in Economia, Ingegneria o discipline STEM, con una ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese e italiana.

Your team

You will be part of the Design and Digital Division in the Directorate General Communications. Our Directorate General has around 250 members of staff responsible for engaging with the public and media and informing them about the ECB’s tasks and mission. We also support members of the Executive Board in their communication activities. 

In your role as a trainee, you will be part of a team of four responsible for ECB visual communications products involving graphic design and branding. You will help produce graphic design solutions for a wide array of communications products (such as static visuals, illustrations, explainer videos and infographics) on multiple platforms, including the ECB’s websites and social media channels. 

You will work closely with others in our Directorate General as part of cross-divisional teams handling strategic communication projects or urgent tasks. You will also work with staff across the ECB and with external providers.

Your role

As a trainee in the Design team you will:

  • support the team in its daily tasks by preparing appealing visuals for the ECB’s websites and social media channels (e.g. Instagram, X and YouTube) and for high-level events;
  • develop branding solutions for different ECB initiatives by exploring and incorporating the latest trends in graphic design and motion graphic design, and ensuring their alignment with strategic communication goals;
  • make innovative and creative proposals to elevate the ECB’s visual communications;
  • help establish and maintain the ECB’s visual identity across all communications products;
  • support the improvement of workflows and processes, for example by utilising new technologies, to help the team work more efficiently to deliver high-quality visual communications;
  • work with colleagues across the Directorate General on strategic projects and day-to-day tasks, contributing creative ideas for a wide range of activities.

The traineeship offers you excellent opportunities to gain experience in different areas of visual communications in a fast-paced environment across a broad range of topics. Qualifications, experience and skills

Essential: 

  • a bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, visual communications or a related field (other fields will also be considered if combined with strong relevant qualifications);
  • proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects);
  • a sound understanding of design principles, layout, colour theory, typography and the basics of motion graphics, demonstrated by a strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects;
  • the ability to conceptualise and execute creative ideas effectively, translating complex information into clear and intuitive visuals, and a keen eye for aesthetics and consistency;
  • familiarity with the design process from concept to final delivery;
  • a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
  • an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Desired: 

  • familiarity with user interface and user experience design principles;
  • familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and their application in creative workflows.

Your team

You will be part of the Multimedia team in the Design and Digital Division within the Directorate General Communications. Our Division is responsible for the ECB’s digital communications, including website development, design and content, publications and visual communications.

As a trainee in the Multimedia team, you will support the audiovisual aspects of the ECB’s communications. The team brings together colleagues with strong creative skills and a wide range of expertise, including in photography, videography, visual media editing and podcasting. Team members work closely with stakeholders and coordinate audiovisual projects from initial concept and drafting through to final delivery. You will collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds, benefiting from a variety of perspectives and approaches. You will also work closely with others in our Directorate General as part of cross-divisional teams handling strategic communication projects or urgent tasks.

  • a bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, media, public relations, photography, graphic design or similar (other fields will also be considered if combined with relevant qualifications);
  • a clear understanding of the ECB’s mission, tasks and responsibilities, as well as a broad understanding of the European Union;
  • some experience in at least two of the following: photography, videography and podcast production;
  • basic post-production skills, including the ability to process raw audiovisual material using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar post-production software;
  • a good knowledge of the Windows and Mac operating systems and Adobe Creative Cloud products;
  • a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
  • an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Desired: 

  • some experience in producing audiovisual products for publication on social media and/or other online platforms;
  • some exposure to the typical production work carried out in a production or broadcast studio, using lighting, audio set-ups, broadcast cameras and stage set-ups;
  • an awareness of the communications strategies of leading private and public institutions; 
  • experience working or studying in an international environment.
